Noémie Goudal’s (b. 1984, France) is a French artist living and working in Paris.
Goudal’s practice exists in an intersection between installation and photography. She creates detailed, staged illusionistic landscape installations, which she then documents using film and photography. These works involve extensive investigations in the realms of ecology and anthropology: a conceptual framework that Goudal employs to challenge the restrictions of our current theoretical understandings for the natural world.
Goudal is a graduate from the Royal college of Art, London (2010).
